2026 SALA Exhibition - Salt & Soil

1st - 31st August 2026
At Jetty Food Store, we live at the intersection of the Fleurieu’s deep history and its wild, evolving future. Salt & Soil is a visual exploration of this meeting point: where the grit of the earth meets the spray of the sea.

This exhibition celebrates the raw, regenerative farmland that sustains us, tracing the lines where rich soil flows into the rhythmic, coastal movement of the Southern Ocean tide. It is an homage to the textures of our region, from the weathered hands of our local growers to the sun-bleached driftwood of Port Elliot’s shores.

We have curated a collection of South Australian works that mirror the organic, slow-living ethos of our space. Visitors are invited to wander through the store and our sun-drenched garden, coffee in hand, to experience art that feels as grounded and authentic as the produce on our shelves.

    Expressive Abstract Painting
Observation sits at the heart of my work, but over time I have moved into a freer, more expressive way of painting where colour, gesture, and feeling lead the way.
